About the group
An Iraqi holding company that grew by taking on the next problem the last business exposed.
The group
Mawaran Group is an holding company. It began in automotive parts and grew the way most durable groups do — by taking on the next problem the last business exposed.
Selling parts made it obvious that customers had nowhere dependable to have them fitted, so the group built a service network. Running eleven workshops made it obvious that vehicle owners had no record of their own service history, so the group built the software to hold it. Each business came from the one before it rather than from a diversification slide.
Today the group operates across six sectors: automotive and mobility, food and hospitality, manufacturing and consumer products, retail and lifestyle, technology and digital ventures, and industrial tools and equipment. What they share is not a market but a method — own the operation, train the people, and hold the standard across every site.
The group invests for control and for the long term. It does not take positions it cannot operate, and it does not enter a category it has no reason to be in. Growth follows capability.

Values
What we hold to
01
We operate, we don’t speculate
Every business in the group is one we run day to day. We take controlling positions in operations we understand, and we stay close enough to them to know when something is wrong before a report tells us.
02
The standard is the same everywhere
A customer in Erbil should get the same work as a customer in Baghdad. Consistency across sites is harder than excellence at one of them, and it is the thing we hold ourselves to.
03
We train rather than recruit
Skilled people are scarce in the markets we operate in. Rather than compete for a thin pool, we bring people in early and train them ourselves — which is slower, and which compounds.
04
Built in The Region, for The Region
We produce locally where producing locally makes sense, and we hire locally everywhere. Shortening a supply chain is not a slogan here — it is the difference between a shelf that is stocked and one that is empty.
05
We take the long position
We would rather hold a supplier relationship for a decade than win a season on price. The same applies to our people, our partners and the assets we put in the ground.
06
Quality that leaves evidence
Claims are easy. We build processes that produce records — batch tests, service histories, diagnostic reads — so quality can be checked rather than asserted.
Vision
We build companies that outlast the conditions they were started in — operations with real assets, trained people and standards that hold when nobody is watching. The Region does not need more importers. It needs businesses that stay.

Nothing here was built alone.
The group runs on its people.
That is the whole method.
